Chatham born midfielder Andrew Crofts is one of the most successful graduates from Gillingham's youth system. Crofts made his debut for the club against Watford at the krbs Priestfield Stadium at the tender age of 16 years 337 days in 2001.
Since then Andrew has gone on to make 165 League appearances for the Gills netting a total of 17 goals. His eight goal haul and sensational form saw Crofts sweep the board in the 2006/07 Player of the Year Awards and he was appointed Gills captain at the start of the 2007/08 season.
Andrew has represented Wales at every level receiving his latest cap in the 2-0 defeat to the Netherlands in Rotterdam. His 12 International appearances makes Crofts the most capped player in Gillinghams history.
