Gillingham Football Club can confirm that on-loan defender, Adam Bygrave, has returned to his parent club Reading FC.

The young defender was one of manager Mark Stimson's first signings and he made his debut in the 2-1 home win against Hartlepool back in November 2007.

Bygrave went on to make 15 appearances for the Gills but found a starting place hard to come by with the introduction of Danny Cullip and Garry Richards to the back line.
