MILLER FEELING CONFIDENT
Gills midfielder Adam Miller was in bullish mood after the Gills opening pre-season fixture with Stevenage "I am confident about this season. Without being disrespectful to any other team in League Two, I don't think there is any team out there for us to worry about."
"Now the gaffer has implemented what he wants in the team; the fitness, the confidence to get on the ball and pass it; it is shaping up to be a good season. I cannot see any reason why we cannot be up there. Hopefully we can justify our position as one of the favourites."

Miller featured in several positions last season and he is looking forward to linking up with new signing Mark McCammon: "The Gaffer knows that I will play anywhere for him and will do what I can for him. As a footballer, you're not a central midfielder, you're a footballer. You play where the play takes you."
"I might be out on the left; it doesn't bother me because I can come into the hole and the middle. I just love playing and I like having the ball. When you're out on the left, you come into the middle and people cannot mark you so it probably suits me more. If I play up front, I do what I can up there too."
And Adam is looking forward to playing alongside new boy Mark McCammon, "To be honest, I haven't come across Mark McCammon too many times. As a geezer, he is a top man. I get on well with him and I like him. I remember playing against him when we went up to Doncaster last year. He'll prove to be a good signing. He is a big, strong lad and that is what we need."
Miller underwent a hernia operation during the close-season but is confident that he is back to full fitness: "The operation went really well. I had a lot of stiffness what with the scar tissue. I thought I'd do what the other boys are doing to break that down and it has worked. It's no longer a problem."
