Mark Stimson's Gills are currently in 21st in League One and go into the match off a 2-1 defeat to

The two sides have already met this season when the Gills beat the Pirates 3-2 at KRBS Priestfield on Saturday 27th October.  Gillingham's Aaron Brown opened the scoring in the 19th minute but Rovers fought back to take the lead with goals from Rickie Lambert and David Pipe.  Substitute David Graham scored an 85th minute equaliser for the Gills before on-loan striker Chris Dickson clinched the win with an 89th minute winner.

Gills Manager Mark Stimson will have to do without the services of Adam Miller for the trip to Bristol.

 

Midfielder Miller picked up his tenth booking of the season in the defeat against Swansea and serves the first match of a two-match suspension.

 

Midfielder Mark Bentley misses the match as he serves the second match of a two-match suspension for his tenth yellow card of the season against Millwall.

 

Ivory Coast striker Georges Ba returns to the squad after missing the Swansea match due to being in France for the birth of his first child.

 

Goalkeeper Simon Royce (ankle) and defender John Nutter (hamstring) are both undergoing treatment and a decision on their availability will be made on Friday.

 

Striker Delroy Facey is on-loan at Coca-Cola League Two side Wycombe Wanderers until the end of the season and is included in the Chairboys squad for the match against Chester City at the Causeway Stadium.

 

Defender Efe Sodje is on-loan at League Two club Bury until the end of the season and is included in the Shakers squad for their local derby against Macclesfield Town at Gigg Lane.

Midfielders Stuart Thurgood and Barry Cogan are on-loan at Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic until the end of the season and are includes in the Blues squad for their match against Northwich
Victoria at the Victoria Stadium.

 

Striker Luis Cumbers is on work experience at Ryman Premier Division club AFC Wimbledon and is included in the Dons squad for the match against Harlow Town at Kingsmeadow.
