Mark Stimson's Gills are currently 21st in League One and go into the match off a 2-1 victory over Luton Town at the KRBS Priestfield Stadium on Tuesday. From their 20 away League One games this season, the Gills have won two, drawn two and lost 16 whilst scoring 15 goals and conceding 47.

 

Kenny Jackett's Millwall, who are currently two points ahead of the Gills in 19th place in the league table, come into the match off a 2-1 defeat to AFC Bournemouth at the Fitness First Stadium last Saturday.  From their 20 home games in the league, they have won eight, drawn three and lost nine and have scored 26 goals and conceded 23.

The two sides have already met this season when they drew 1-1 at the KRBS Priestfield Stadium on Saturday 13th October.  Chris Dickson opened the scoring for the Gills in the 16th minute, however, Alan Dunne scored an equaliser for the Lions after 61 minutes.

Gills Manager Mark Stimson hopes to have John Nutter fit for the trip to the New Den.

Defender Nutter limped off against
Luton with a hamstring injury and will undergo further treatment before a decision is made on his availability.

On-loan midfielder Kevin Maher has overcome the illness that forced him to miss the
Luton match and could feature but goalkeeper Simon Royce is a doubt with an ankle injury.

Centre-half Danny Cullip (hamstring) and midfielder Adam Miller (hernia) hope to be fit to play.

 

Striker Delroy Facey is on-loan Coca-Cola League Two side Wycombe Wanderers and is included in the Chairboys squad for the match against Peterborough United at the Causeway Stadium whilst centre-half Efe Sodje, who is into a second month on loan with Bury, is in the Shakers squad for the visit of Notts County.

Midfielders Stuart Thurgood and Barry Cogan are currently on a month's loan at Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic and are in the Blues squad for their trip to Burton Albion.

Lions Manager Kenny Jackett welcomes Marc Laird for the visit of the Gills.

Midfielder Laird has missed the last three matches due to suspension after his red card against Leyton Orient.

Strikers Gary Alexander and Lewis Grabban are both doubts with hamstring injuries but defender Andy Frampton hopes to return from a knee injury.

Defender Alan Dunne (foot), midfielders Daniel Spiller (hernia), Dave Brammer, Chris Hackett and Mark Phillips (all knee) and striker Adrian Forbes (hamstring) are all sidelined.

Former
Gillingham players Neil Harris, Bas Savage and Justin Cochrane are included in the squad.  Harris scored six goals in 39 matches in the 2005/06 season whilst on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.  Savage scored one goal in 15 appearances between September 2006 and January 2007.  Cochrane scored one goal in five appearances whilst on-loan from Crewe Alexandra in March 2006.
