LAST MATCH

The two sides have already met twice this season.  In League One at Kenilworth Road on Saturday 25th August, the Hatters beat the Gills 3-1.  David Bell opened the scoring for the Hatters and Mark Bentley equaliser for the Gills.  Paul Furlong regained the lead for the home side and Matthew Spring confirmed the win with a late penalty.

The two sides also met in a thrilling Johnstone's Paint Trophy Second Round tie at KRBS Priestfield on Tuesday 9th October with the Gills winning 4-3.  On-loan striker Chris Dickson opened the scoring for the Gills but the visitors were 3-1 up at half-time as Furlong scored twice and Spring scored a penalty.  In an exciting final 16 minutes, Dickson scored two more for his hat-trick and Bentley got the winner two minutes from time.
