Gillingham and Carlisle United at the KRBS Priestfield Stadium.

RECENT FORM

Mark Stimson's Gills are currently 21st in League One and go into the match off a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Port Vale at Vale Park on Bank Holiday Monday.  From their 19 home League One games this season, the Gills have won eight, drawn seven and lost four whilst scoring 22 goals and conceding 18.

John Ward's Carlisle, who are currently second in the league table, come into the match off a 2-0 victory over Northampton Town at the Brunton Park on Bank Holiday Monday.  From their 20 away games in the league, they have won six, drawn seven and lost seven and have scored 23 goals and conceded 24.

LAST MATCH

The two sides have already met in League One this season when the Cumbrians beat the Gills 2-0, with an Ian Cox own goal and a goal from Simon Hackney, at Brunton Park on Saturday 20th October.

GILLINGHAM

TEAM NEWS

Gills Manager Mark Stimson welcomes Danny Cullip back into the squad for the visit of Carlisle.

Centre-half Cullip missed the defeat at Port Vale, as he played the full 90 minutes against Bournemouth after returning from a hamstring injury, and Stimson thought two games in three days would be too much of a risk.

Welsh international midfielder Andrew Crofts returns to the team after missing the defeat to Port Vale with illness.  The Gills captain travelled to Luxembourg with the Welsh international squad but was omitted from the team for the international friendly.

Goalkeeper Simon Royce is ruled out with the ankle injury sustained in training last week whilst defender Ian Cox is ruled out with a knee injury.

Midfielder Kevin Maher serves the final match of a three-match suspension for his red card for Serious Foul Play against Crewe Alexandra.

Striker Donovan Simmonds, who joined from Coventry City on-loan for the rest of the season earlier this week, misses the match due to serving the final match of a three-match suspension.

Striker Delroy Facey has joined Coca-Cola League Two side Wycombe Wanderers on a month's loan.

Centre-half Efe Sodje, who is currently into the second month of a loan spell at Coca-Cola League Two side Bury, is in the Shakers squad for their match against Shrewsbury Town at the New Meadow.

Midfielders Stuart Thurgood and Barry Cogan are currently on a month's loan at Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic and are in the Blues squad for their match against
Crawley Town at the Recreation Ground.
