The Gills, who are currently 19th in Coca-Cola League One, go into the match off a 1-1 draw against Doncaster Rovers at the KRBS Priestfield Stadium on Tuesday, the goal scored by on-loan striker Chris Dickson.

Paul Fairclough's Barnet, who are currently eighth in the Coca-Cola League Two table, come into the match off a 1-1 draw against
Notts County thanks to Jason Puncheon's goal at Underhill on Tuesday.

The Gills will be looking to emulate their 1999/2000 FA Cup run where they eventually exited in the Quarter Finals as they lost 5-0 to
Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 20th February 2000.  That FA Cup run saw Gillingham beat Cheltenham Town 3-2 in a First Round replay at Priestfield after an initial 1-1 draw at Whaddon Road, a 3-1 win over Darlington in Round Two, a 2-1 win over Walsall in a replay in the Third Round after an initial 1-1 draw, a Fourth Round 3-1 win over then-Premiership side Bradford City and another 3-1 win over a Premiership club, Sheffield Wednesday, in the Fifth Round.

Barnet's best ever FA Cup run was last season.  They won 3-1 at Gainsborough Trinity in the First Round, beat Northampton Town 4-1 in Round Two, Championship side Colchester United were upset in the Third Round as they lost 2-1 at Underhill before the Bees lost 2-0 to Plymouth Argyle in the Fourth Round on Saturday 27th January.

There have been eight previous fixtures between the two sides and the honours are even with three wins each and two draws.

The last fixture between the two clubs was an Endsleigh Insurance Third Division match at Priestfield on
Tuesday 13th February 1996 when the Gills beat the Bees 1-0 thanks to a goal from striker Steve Butler.

Gillingham Team News

Gills Manager Mark Stimson may have to do without Chris Dickson for the trip to Underhill.

Dickson is currently on-loan at the KRBS Priestfield Stadium from Charlton Athletic and Stimson is waiting on a decision from the Addicks as to whether the young striker can play on Saturday.

Team captain Andrew Crofts plays his last game before joining up with the Wales squad for their Euro 2008 qualifying matches against the Republic of Ireland next Saturday and Germany the following Wednesday.

Former Bees Simon King and Barry Cogan return to Underhill for the first time since joining the Gills in July.  Defender King, the Barnet 2006/07 Player of the Year, made 167 appearances in three seasons for the Bees and scored seven goals whilst midfielder Cogan scored three goals in 45 appearances for Barnet in the 2006/07 season.

Blue Square South side Welling United and is in their squad for the trip to Dorchester United.
